Next Generation NCLEX
The NGN launched on April 1, 2023 to better measure nursing candidates’ clinical judgment and decision making abilities through the use of innovative item types. 21 - 33% of the NCLEX now make up single, stand alone or unfolding case studies. Critical thinking skills are the focus of these questions.
NCLEX Test Items
These next gen NCLEX questions range from Matrix Multiple Response, Bow tie, Cloze drop down to Trend in addition to the single question format and SATA that the NCLEX has always presented the test-taker. The candidate is expected to answer the test items using the Clinical Judgment Measurement Model. My new tutoring package includes all this and more for the NCLEX.

I'm on my 7th attempt to pass the NCLEX. I tried Kaplan, Hurst, U World, Saunders,Remar and Mark K. I eventually relized I need structure, guidance and someone to be honest with me and tell me where I was going wrong. Having Ms. Garrison read through the questions with me several times a week through her program of tutoring, helped me create and stick to a study on plan, hold me accountable, and be honest with me yet still encouraging was a complete game changer.
