About Me
Born in 1966, I was placed into foster care as a special needs child having been born with fetal alcohol syndrome, failure to thrive and mild cerebral palsy. Due to the complexities of being born with special needs, I was placed in five homes until the age of five, at which time, I lived with a Baptist Minister and his wife, until the age of twenty years old.
At the age of twenty, scandal rocked my small town when my very prominent foster parents, a minister and his wife, got arrested.
In 1987, the State of NJ emacipated me from their resposibility and I became homeless. Experiencing struggles but never losing my faith in the Lord, He helped me find the funds to go to college to become a Nurse! I have been in the medical field for over thirty years. My greatest achievement to my community and the medical field was as a Nursing Student when I cared for a gentleman by the name of George Boyd. He was dying and he wanted to leave me a $1M. I told him to leave it to the two colleges I was attending at the time - Rowan College. He did! These days, to be eligable for this Scholarship, all one has to do is be a resident of Cumberland County NJ, be a nursing student and call 1-856-691-8600 for more information.
Retiring from bedside nursing due to my congenital health issues, the Lord still provides a way for me to serve my community in which I live by helping the Bridgeton Salvation Army as a volunteer and being Director of Public Relations for the NJ Woman's Christian Temperance Union and I have started a nonprofit called Crafting 4 Hope Foundation, Inc to help bring joy and meet the needs of those struggling in my commuity and online. I still do my online tutoring service that I have been doing since 1997. I have developed a medical exam board game that is in the works. Also, I am currently writing a NCLEX Review book that will help nurses pass their State Boards entitled: Next Generation NCLEX & Beyond. Look for the book and board game online and in bookstores in the near future! God is so good!
University: Bachelor of science in nursing and a minor in Psychology.
Course: Certification in legal nurse consulting via Vickie Milazzo Institute.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." James 1:5

Dedication to the cause
Having struggled with college and the NCLEX myself in 1997, I promised the Lord if He let me pass, on my third try, I would help nursing students "for the rest of my life".
Professionalism
I am very passionate about tutoring what I know and I keep everything up to date. It never gets old with me.
